- Hot air balloon rides by Eastern CT Balloon Services Inc are approximately one-hour in duration with champagne and a Certificate of First Flight after landing. We have two 5-person balloons operating; 4 passengers and 1 pilot in each balloon. VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, check and cash are accepted.

(maximum passenger weights: 1 passenger/250 lbs., 2 passengers/400 lbs., 3 passengers/550 lbs., 4 passengers/700 lbs.)
Private Flights for 1 or 2 passengers can be purchased for $650.00. (Three passengers: $850.00)
Note:
-We fly each hot air balloon with 4 passengers and 1 pilot onboard, unless you purchase a "Private Flight".
-A minimum of 2 passengers is required to schedule a weekday flight.
-There is no CT Sales Tax on our sight-seeing flights.

- TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Hot Air Balloon Flights are by reservation only and require a $50.00 per person deposit to schedule a ride. The balance of your flight is due on the launch field. A deposit will be forfeited if less than a 24-hour notice is given to cancel a scheduled flight. There is a $5.00 per person handling charge on deposit refunds.
Gift Certificate / Boarding Passes are to be paid-in-full upon purchase and are refundable only to the purchaser within 30 days of issue. Boarding Passes are transferable by the recipient, or purchaser if it is returned to them. A Boarding Pass is valid for 24 months and will be forfeited if less than a 24-hour notice is given to cancel a scheduled flight. There is a $5.00 per Boarding Pass handling charge on refunds. At our discretion, expired Boarding Passes / Gift certificates may be applied toward a flight if the difference between purchase price and current price is paid.
Note: Prices are subject to change without notice. Valid Boarding Passes and deposits toward flights will not incur any price increase after the date of sale.
Physical Limitations: Even though we fly hot air balloons in ideal weather conditions (winds less than 10 mph) and 19 out of 20 balloon landings are softer than a typical airplane landing, ballooning is still an adventure sport. We do not recommend a balloon flight for a passenger if they are younger than 8 years old, or older than 80, pregnant, or have one of the following physical conditions: back problems, false knees, replaced hips, recent surgery, heart problems, etc. If a passenger is not in perfect health, it is their responsibility to consult with their physician whether they should fly in a hot air balloon. We are fully insured with passenger and liability insurance, however, we do require all passengers to sign an Acknowledgement of Risk form prior to their flight. This is standard with all adventure sports (i.e. white water rafting, parachuting, etc.).
